This half term in Geography we are learning about the UK, the countries it is made up of and their capital cities.
In History we will be looking at changes within living memory by comparing toys from the past that our grandparents may have used with those that we use today.

Capital city | The city where the government is based. |
Union Jack | The national flag of the UK containing parts of the English, Scottish and Northern Irish flags. |
Past | Time that has passed. |
Modern | Present and recent times. |
Century | Period of 100 years. |
Living memory | Things remembered by living people. |
Generation | People born and living at around the same time. |
