Following on from last week's work on 'The Good Samaritan', it was time to create a few parables of our own. We now know that parables are religious stories with a hidden meaning intended to help us live a better life, but what did we decide to spread as our own hidden messages? After much discussion and rehearsal our six groups settled on the following:
Don't judge a person you don't know.
Don't pretend to be hurt or people may not believe you when you genuinely need help.
Treat everybody equally.
Always listen to people, even if you're the boss.
Never trust strangers.
Always try to accept new people because you may be the new person yourself one day.
We saw some great performances and reflected a lot on what it means to live a good life. Every member of the class gave 100% to bring to a close a fantastic mini-challenge.
