In our 'How does your garden grow?' topic we will be learning lots about plants and trees. We are going to learn the story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' to tie in with this so we can look at how the beanstalk might have grown so tall. We will be making some story maps and mountains to help us remember the key parts of the story and we will be hot seating the characters to understand how they were feeling at different times. We will also be discussing what we would do if we had some magic beans! Later in the half term we will look at 'The Enormous Turnip' and even make our own soup. Keep checking this page to see photos and videos of what we have been up to.
Look at this version of the traditional tale to help you remember the key parts at home.
