PE
We have PE on Wednesdays and Thursdays so please make sure your child's PE kit is in school on these days.
We remind and encourage our class to change their reading books once they have read it home. Please sign your child's diary when they read with you at home.
Homework is given out on a Friday. We collect learning logs and diaries in on Thursday each week. Homework is tailored to your child's needs and is always linked to learning that has taken place in school or learning that is going to take place the following week. We give a piece of numeracy and creative curriculum homework each week as well as spellings.
If you need support with completing homework don't forget that we hold a weekly homework club after school on Mondays from 3.15 to 4.15 pm.
House points are awarded every week and are included in your child's diary. These are awarded for good attendance, behaviour, hard work and effort. Your child must hand their diary in every week to collect their house points which are stamped in the back. Their diary also needs signing by an adult at home each week. Certificates are awarded for any house points collected.
Spellings are given each week as part of weekly homework. The children have one week to learn their spellings as we test them every Friday. Your child's spelling results will be written in their homework diary.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
