In our Science lessons we will be investigating seasonal changes by observing changes to our environment such as weather and daylight.
|Seasons||In the UK there are four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each lasts around 3 months.|
|Weather||What the sky and air are like outside. E.g. Cloudy, snowy, rainy.|
|Temperature||Hot hot or cold it is. In the UK we measure this in degrees celsius.|
|Daylight||When it is light outside because the sun is in the sky. This changes in different seasons.|
|Day length||How many hours of daylight in a day. This changes in different seasons.|
|Adapt||How things and people change to meet the different conditions around them. E.g. Wear a coat when it is cold.|
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
