Statement of intent
At Worthinghead Primary School our intent is that children have a wide range of practical opportunities to experience and develop a love and enjoyment of music, as composers, performers and as audiences.
Children should develop the confidence to share their creative responses along with the ability to give constructive feedback, justifying their responses.
A wide range of genres and styles and historical periods will be covered, with students having access to a range of instrumental resources with which to create and being taught the musical language to respond with.
Children can learn to play musical instruments using tutors from Bradford's Music Service. Look at the videos to see what is available. Subscription Forms and further details are available in the school office.
