We will also discover their fascinating inventive maths and calendar systems and we will study the impressive buildings of this very early civilisation whilst creating a class Maya city!
Later in the term we will be visited by a Mayan to learn all about his mysterious ways including what the Mayans ate, what clothes they wore and what rituals were sacred in their culture. This learning will be reinforced using drama to stick in our class's memory. Stand by for pics and videos!
