In history this half term we are learning about some real life superheroes. They are Emily Davison, Rosa Parks and Matthew Henson. They all experienced unfair treatment and helped influence lasting change in our modern world.

|martyr||Someone who gives their life for a cause.|
|Suffragettes||Organisation who campaigned for women to be able to vote.|
|Expedition||A journey with a purpose such as reaching the North Pole.|
|Inequality||When something is unfair and people are treated differently.|
Reaching the North Pole is no small feat.
