This half term we will be focussing on learning all about the ‘golden age’ of Islam and the Abbasid Caliphate. We will find out about the culture of that time and why the city of Baghdad was such an important and innovative place.
This half-term we are learning all about the Viking Era. We will be learning about where they came from and how they travelled to Britain. We will find out all about their culture and beliefs and what life was like for Vikings in Britain.
Spring 2 - Victorious Vikings - A local area study
We will be continuing to learn about the Vikings and where they settled in the U.K. We will focus on what daily life was like for them and create our own longhouse models.
